Born in an old medieval Italian town at the steps of Tuscany's highest mountains and close to the sea, I got a Master in IT Engineering at the University of Florence and soon after embraced the corporate IT Product consultancy across Europe, while applying my Ph.D. research. After some minor entrepreneurship attempts, I started a global SaaS venture and selected Dublin, Ireland as the right place, influenced by the book "Behind the Cloud" by Marc Benioff, who I personally came to know during the first Dreamforce event in London, 2008. Thanks to this experience I got to know the ups and downs of real-life entrepreneurship.
After we sold the IP of the software I decided to pursue a top-notch Business Education and I was admitted to the University of Illinois Business school and graduated with Dean's List honorees in August 2019 while inducted in the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society in 2018.
In the last 5 years, I have lead Machine Learning Product initiatives in Zalando, acted as Head of Product at Zendesk for the omnichannel and the Platform solution, and worked at Typeform to transform it to a simple survey tool intto a Conversational Experience Platform, thanks to the use of Partners' solutions. I am now Director of Product at Hotjar
